St. Christopher’s is a hands-on community.  Several of our members cook and deliver Meals on Wheels.  A few of our members deliver meals for the Senior Citizens’ Center. 

Our primary outreach work is done at the Salvation Army.  We cook lunch on the second Saturday of each month.  Daphney Farmer oversees this ministry.  We need three to four people to cook and four people to serve lunch.  We always have a good time.

We are also beginning to explore ways we can use the building skills in this parish community for the greater good of the Kingsport area.  This is a new ministry spawned by the recent Appalachian Service Project trip and the ongoing ramp ministry of the Men’s Club.  Stay tuned for more details as they are worked out.
